Hey my favorite Wednesday girl... you might want to look at the following options.
Each can be loaded on free Linux (and in some cases Windows OS) and can be administered by web browser.
Your data stays with you. If you need remote access to your data, you can easily setup a dynamic DNS service which helps the internet keep track of the IP address your Cable or internet provider supplies.
