There are so many important things happening to people's lives and family, that I almost hate to ask this.
I do live in Tennessee and we have a friend south of Decatur Al whose beloved dog has lost much of his back legswheelchair mobility.
Is there a dog wheelchair exchange in that part of the world where his best friend could find one for a reasonable price?

I doubt it, but they are sold online for about $200-500.

I don't understand why they're still called wheelchairs when the chair part is gone.

We'll check on weight tomorrow. Dog has slimmed down a lot. Length of the dogs' legs might be the determinant.

Turns out he has several of the 'wheelchairs' but they don't fit well, so I've asked him to look at what doesn't work and why and next trip down, I'll take my sewing machine, the right treads, some strapping and velcro and see if I can make them easier to get onto him.
Thank you for the offer.
