If you have a Great Courses account. They have a pretty good course about it. The Barbarian Empires of the Steppes.
It's like 32 episodes, and worth the watch.

Anyone want to let me borrow an account? Or is there a subscription service? I just can’t justify 160 bucks for it at the moment

And I love that professor. Kenneth Harl I think is his name.
