Yes i do. You do realize there was another person in the vehicle as well? Shooting into a car could have killed
the other passenger as well.

Can you point where I excused this officer's actions in total?

What I am saying, is that regardless of what the officer did or did not do, the one thing which seems to remain consistent across nearly ALL of these shootings is that the suspect decided they simply WOULD NOT BE ARRESTED.

As if that was up to the suspect to decide they'll be arrested like Kurt Russell playing Wyatt Earp in Tombstone, telling Behan he wasn't going to let him arrest them after the OK Corral.

The reason you never hear about most encounters, even ones where officers acted poorly, is because the suspect did not feel the need to start wrestling around with armed LEOs putting them in the position of HAVING to make a life or death decision based on the life or death situation they were placed in by the suspect.

Unless and until people start addressing this issue first, I simply am uninterested in looking into these cases beyond that glaring similarity. Because I know that in the handful of times when I've had encounters with LEOS, even those that were unpleasant, the fact that I was respectful and not being aggressive or attempting to thwart what they were doing is why I left the scene with a warning or a ticket, and not dead on the side of the road. Searching for reasons other than this is a waste of everyone's time, and a recipe for continued needless deaths.
