When you watched the game what areas did you think needed improving. Did the fact that we got out scored 13-10 in the 2nd half bother you?

- The secondary had a few blown coverages.

- KW didnt seem to be running very hard.

- QB's made a few bad passes. Lee's interception.

- Kickoffs consistently landing at the 10-15.

Ok I am nit picking i know. But what do yall think. Anything else worry you.

I searched a few pages to see if this was german, didnt seem to be.

punts.
Kickoffs a little (but Colt wasn't playing).
secondary a little.

Other than that, not so much. it was the first game. if we have blown coverages in week 2, then I will get concerned.

Blown coverage over the middle that scored a long touch down. Interception by Lee. Loose coverage on passes. All can be fixed. Great first game. Also too many first down penalties , before ball was even hiked.

Hatch is not "terrible".

Just count your blessings that we are not looking at the multitude of mistakes the supposed "best of the ACC" made against Alabama. A supposed NC contender that looked like they've not played organized football. One blown assignment after another that allowed Alabama to make them look like fools. Things could be FAR worse.

Hatch had herpes. Everything went wrong that could on a lopsided win for OUR SIDE. Oh, and some of the yard lines were a little crooked.

that a joke right. everyones complaining about his arm stregnth but Lee's touchdowns came on a swing pass and a busted play, neither play was very impressive.

KW sucked bad. Kind of puts an exclamation piont on the KW-Hester debate of last season, does it not?

hatch did look composed under pressure, but made a few stupid passes. It's expected for his 1st real game. KW is the man, but didnt have a good showing and looked like he wasnt running too hard. Scott played like Scott, he's a badass. Punting was terrible and Kicking was also terrible. It's definately not the end of the world, but we have some fairly sized "kinks" that need to get worked out before our trip to AUB.

he'll come around. just one game. thought miles did a good job of continuing to give scott the ball in the first half. and letting others get some carries in the 2nd half.

Most of the negatives are fixable. The QB play is big factor but I believe this will be worked out just fine. First Game.

What does worry me and should worry others is the punting. If we cant change field position we are in deep trouble. Imagine being stuck in our own end zone and punting to the 25 yd. line. Scary right. This trend of bad punting has carried over from the spring game where it was also very bad. If it wouldnt have been for Jasper I would be even more worried. Lets just hope this gets fixed fast. Everything else i can live with just fine for a first game.

The biggest negqative is that people feel the need to start looking for negatives after an impressive week 1 victory. But hey some fans NEVER change.

Not in the least. It was LSU's 2nd and 3rd team guys against a solid FCS team. This almost always happens during garbage time.

If you noticed, the confusion in the secondary started in the 2nd half right after Coleman got injured. That put Chad Jones in charge of the secondary calls. And for a couple of plays, it looked like a Chinese fire drill. There is a reason Coleman is starting over him. But I am sure Chad is learning and will be a great one. Again, all of this is correctable.

Hatch had 3 third and long situations and each time he looked to run way too quickly. On all 3 of those 3rd and longs, he looked at primary wr then attempted to scramble for a minimal gain and didn't convert. This is a problem. We have to be able to convert 3rd downs this season and he's gonna have to realize he can't just take off each time. He needs to look downfield more.

He also completed only 50% of his passes (which were screens and short throws), missed many open WRs downfield and decided to throw to TE instead, should have thrown a pick but it was dropped, missed Byrd on what should have been a TD, threw behind Byrd on one third down, threw low and short on one third down causing the WR to catch ball on the ground, short of first down.

Pretty terrible to me.
