Maybe tile but use rugs in babies room. Ruggable has rugs you can take apart and put in washer. I'm anti carpet for the most part due to allergies.

This^

Plus - as the baby gets older it’s easier to clean the tile and replace rugs.

One of my kids has horrible allergies, so I’m think of getting rid of the carpet in the bedroom.
