Don't buy a Speedmaster Racing and expect much if any appreciation at least not outstripping inflation or the buoy that rising Omega prices will induce. Those Speedys have a modified ETA movement and depending on the version aren't what I consider long-term stable. I would rather have something like my Mk 40 that uses an ETA 7753 or a Speedy Pro. I did have a Schumacher version for a while and it is a fine watch but I think they are overpriced for what they are and will always be the red headed step child of the Speedmaster range.
