Apple watch to track swimming

Does anyone use an Apple watch series 6 to track swimming? I currently have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 and while it tracks laps its not really accurate or easy to see. I think the apple watch might be better.

I do. It's pretty accurate, the only problem is when you're doing kick sets. It won't record yardage then, but I think that's a common problem with most of the smartwatches.

Download the MySwimPro App. It syncs with your a Apple Watch and has a drill mode for when you do kick board work. Also, the app keeps track of splits and sets pretty well. Of course you can pay to get other stuff, but the free version should give you what you’re looking for.
