Godzilla versus Kong opens March 31

I think somebody needs to adjust their time table.

The phased process will start with a limited number of cinemas opening for WB/Legendary’s Godzilla Vs Kong on April 2 (note the movie opens on March 31). Regal locations will open more widely on April 16, in time for New Line’s Mortal Kombat.

Seems like a bigger deal is their exclusive window with Warner Media.

Then, beginning in 2022, Warner Bros theatrical films will have a 45-day window of theatrical exclusivity at Cineworld’s Regal chain.

Did any major chain go under completely during the last year or did they all make it?

Just saw that AMC got a major cash infusion but Alamo Drafthouse filed for bankruptcy.

I think I misunderstood this. I thought Regal would have exclusive rights to Warner Bros movies but they are just the first to sign up for WB's theatrical exclusivity window in 2022.
