A DVR question for the game...

Is anyone else having trouble recording the game on their DVR on ESPN Classic?

I just set it up to record the originally scheduled programming. I'm testing it now, to see if I can just set it up to free-record whatever's playing on a channel, regardless of what's scheduled. I don't know if it will automatically keep recording past a TV time slot or not...

I did that yesterday, but today I am able to see the game on the guide but it won't let me record it... It shows a circle with a slash through it with rec underneath, as if to say NO REC. WTF!!!!!

not sure what kind of dvr you have...on the newer directv models there is a timed recording that is not based on the guide...

Exactly. Push record on Bassmasters. Then go to Menu, push To do list, then manage recordings. Select the Bassmasters and then go to stop time. Select 3 hours later and you should be set.
