We had a young immature team. Couple that with covid shutdowns in offseason with new coordinators so limited time to install anything. Throw in some race baiting , all sec schedule, and injuries and we were fortunate to do as well as we did.

This is not an excuse. It’s facts and it shows why trying to surround a recruiter as a HC with elite coordinators is not a feasible strategy for sustained success.
