Lighting wiring?

I replaced a light fixture in my kitchen. The new one can be placed on a dimmer. Here’s the issue. The fixture can be turned on/off from 2 separate locations. 1 in the hallway, the other by the entry at carport door.
How do I install the dimmer when there are 2 locations that control the fixture? Just replace 1 and the other is an on/off switch?

Yep. Pick where you rather the dimmer. I think all dimmers these days are 3 way, but check the one you buy just to be sure.

They have 3-way dimmers that you can dim from both switch locations. I have them installed in my house.

Myopic just need a master/remote system to dim at both locations. Lurton maestro is the most popular series. Call your local electric supply, they would have them
