Money is at least part of it though. PT is too I’m sure. But I doubt PM wanted to go from paying nothing for him to footing the whole bill.
If it is Hampton, his parents paid his way through PDS/MUS, super elite travel ball, and elite private training since he was like 8 years old. His middle school education cost more than OOS tuition at LSU. Throw in what they spent on baseball and the difference is laughable.

You sure Hampton’s parents were footing that entire bill? I went to both, and once they started recruiting athletes, financial aid was used for most of those kids.
