re: What's a book that you wished you had never picked up (because it sucked so bad)?

I've tried 3 or 4 Hemingway books, and none of them have clicked for me. I did at least finish The Old Man and the Sea and The Sun Also Rises. Can't say the same for the other two - A Movable Feast and For Whom the Bell Tolls. It's been several years since I tried them though.
