When I lived in Annapolis, Md I knew these two old gay antique dealers who made a fortune going to estate sales in Alabama and Mississippi and buying mostly vintage furniture at ridiculously low prices and sell it to rich Yankee tourists for just crazy high prices at their shop. They were the ones that turned me on to that great book, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." Jim Williams was just a souped-up version of these old dudes.

I know furniture, but it is more of a business, not a hobby. It takes a lot of work to turn stuff like that. There is great money in it, but it is a full time job. Stuff like that is what I will do when I retire in 15 years.
