Looking for some guidance. Will likely be selling off some a parent's stuff soon (it's in storage right now). A lot of furniture and some nice pieces. Any recs on people/businesses in the BR area to call to see if interested in buying outright, or possible consignment?

Your best bet is an estate sale. You can go at it yourself, price it, etc, or go with an estate sale company thats going to take at least 33%, but do all the work and bring the customers.
An estate sale put on by the family is my favorite sale, because they go at it hard for a few days, then just start pricing stuff cheap because they are tired of pricing.
If you do it yourself, do it 100% or hire a company.
