I mean not definitely - but it’s pretty well within the lines of Christian tenets. No one knows the will of God - but He did give us Ten Commandments a long time ago that pretty many religions follow. Most laws are based on that as well.
It’s no secret that some politicians use religion only when it benefits them ... and disregard it when it doesn’t fit the agenda.

Can you imagine the outcome if congress, these godless heathens, started voting on what they determined to be the will of God?
Once again, we're not a theocracy. We're a constitutional republic. We are governed by laws based on (ideally, anyway) the US constitution.
