Not saying it was the right call but Doughty had a good hit and run pitch that he has to get on the ground but he got under it.

You made him take an ugly swing the pitch before on a ball way outside. That doesn’t help a hitter who is struggling. It hurts. Ffs.

Doughty's been beating it into the ground all season and lifts one when he needed to beat one into the ground.
