You make a great point.
These open border idiots are basically saying two things:
1. The U.S. has no right to decide who comes into the country.
2. The U.S. has no right to decide who becomes a citizen.
If that is true, then we need to carry this out to its logical conclusion: the U.S. needs to do away with not only ICE and Border Patrol but Customs as well. Why should someone coming over on a boat or a plane have to show a passport to enter the country if the yahoos coming across the southern border don't?
Open borders types are just hyper-partisans or anti-American or both.
