New Mario Golf game looks like it could be the best in the series. I’ve been waiting for them to put the RPG elements of the GameBoy games onto a console. Going to be fun af

Hold the excitement. Mario Tennis was ok. Not great, just ok.
I do hope they hit with golf, but outside of the Wii Sports/Fit stuff, the modern Nintendo sports titles have been meh.
They took all the strategy and skill out of Tennis for Aces. It became too much Kart-like/catch-up mechanic focused.

Agreed. I just don't want them to get too focused on the golf sim aspect and lose things like the level hazards, Piranha Plant traps, etc.
Folding things like Golf Story-type mechanics are a net win, though.
