I like the old Hannity expression "All of the Above" when it comes to energy policy. It doesn't have to be a political issue at all. Everyone wants more efficient and cheaper energy. It's a common goal. But one side wants to make it an all-or-nothing deal and demonize anyone who doesn't agree with them 100%.

I've only seen two locations with all green power that worked. Bonneville Power had all of the damns in the Oregon Gorge and both sides of the cliffs were covered with Wind farms. I have hundreds of distribution transformers on those cliffs.

The other was in Ontario where almost all production is hydro and the Wind Farms were providing power as well.

A wind farm is simply nothing more than a CoGen. That's it ...It cannot operate on it's own as a stand alone source. it must have outside generation.

This is exactly right. This all “green” thing is fricking stupid. It’s equally stupid to have zero wind, solar, etc.
