my paternal grandparents were farmers in central Louisiana. Both were born in 1910. Any time I see OLD farm equipment or tools I think of them. There were distinct smells that I can still smell today. My childhood in the 70s was the greatest.

My grandfather farmed cotton in the Cottonport area, and when the ground gets turned in the spring, or cotton plants start blooming, brings me back to the ‘70’s
