Dumbass DA thought he could be slick and say since the trial was thrown out it's like it never happened so we can start all over from the top with murder.
He's trying to jack up charges so he can fall back to his manslaughter safety net if he needs to like every DA in the world does. Now if he has to start with manslaughter there's a chance he doesn't get much of any conviction worth his while out of this.
