If someone wants van with a lot of space that can be customized, the Mercedes-Benz cargo is the way to go. However; if its going to be used for a wheelchair user, the downside is that you would have to put a lift in it instead of a ramp.
With that said, while a ramp van is easier to get in an out, and out an about with, the downside is that the floor is dropped so there will be times when you have to go over something in which the bottom will brush.
For example, some railroad crossings, drive ways with a steep incline, some speed bumps, etc.
If you are looking for a less expensive mini van, I would recommend not looking at Dodge vans.

Agree the yota may be the best for a mom. But old school vans are still at the top
