Have a First Gen. Love it. It's a beast.

Gets hate cos it doesn't have an iPad stapled to the dash like modern trucks, but it's dependable, comfortable, and does what you need a truck to do. It's not a commuter car like a lot of people want their trucks to be, but it's a great truck.

Fuel economy does indeed suck. No doubt. But again, know what you want it to do.
