I like this kid more and more as I learn about him, Shalimar.
While it’s disappointing to finish the 2022 cycle with only two (2) OL in the class, I feel like we got two (2) great ones in Makaneole and Dellinger.
It sounds like Kimo is strong as an ox, and I love how he continued improving in his senior year. Check this out - I was looking back through my notes from the fall, and I found where I recorded his composite ranking of 588 on September 18th. As it stands today, Makaneole’s composite is 439 - a MASSIVE leap of 149 slots! That’s a 25% increase in the rankings that account for everyone in the 247sports composite, regardless of position. Anyway you slice it, that’s a big-time improvement.
I had heard Kimo was a really hard worker, and as far as I’m concerned, it was validated by this accomplishment alone.
Lastly, I believe Kimo will push for playing time in 2022. A year of collegiate S&C with Moffitt and numerous spots opening up across the line could be all that he needs to see the field in meaningful moments. Ultimately, I think him and Marlon MARTINEZ could make a dynamic duo within the interior portion of our offensive line, and I’m definitely looking forward to watching it play out!!!
