I buy nothing in pre market. I only use pre market or after market to sell into as prices are marked up by the algos.
You can get good info as far as support and resistance in pre market and after market as it is quite common to see prices hit there that price can’t get to in normal market hours.

so, identify the pennies that appear to be exploding and move in quickly to get as much of your piece as possible.
that's what I did with ZOM, but I kind of got screwed as it didn't go in all at once. it bought shares in bunches as they became available so my cost/share was much higher than I wanted.
