See if the provider will let you put a credit card on file and run it after the insurance adjudicates the claim.
That way if the earlier procedures are on the books by the time the claim is processed, United will pay 80% or whatever and tell the doctor to bill you the other 20%. They'll run your card for $120 at that time.
