She's been a ref for a few years now and all NFL refs are graded. If they chose her, she probably grades well. I don't think the NFL would allow her to officiate the Super Bowl if she wasn't actually doing well, despite any desire to virtue signal, because they don't want to risk officiating being the main story of the game.

I disagree whole heartedly, virtue signaling is ALL that matters any more.

Sure about that?? After what we have seen from the NFL the last few seasons I wouldn't put anything past them!! Whether it be terrible calls (Saints game) or making a diversity statement...
