I've been growing tomatoes for quite a few years and tried many different varieties. In my opinion Big Beef is the way to go. It's all I grow now. Very good producers and good disease resistance. LSU Ag Center recommends them and several commercial growers I know use them almost exclusively. Large tasty tomatoes. You can't go wrong with them. Juliet is a very good cherry type tomato.

Finally got a second grow light (led). I had been using one of those crappy lights like this one.

The led one is much brighter than my fluorescent light. I picked it up at Lowe’s.

Also, so far I’m a really big fan of that Seed to Spoon app. It’s real convenient to keep track of events when starting seeds. Also info on pests and different articles.
