I don't see how this fixes anything at all. How long are these fanbases going to stay interested after getting blasted every year?
Why award 3 loss teams this opportunity with the current top loaded teams?
A "healthier" college football landscape would probably mean that you see more 1 or even 2 loss teams in the current playoffs structure because talent is more evenly spread. Not just randomly adding mediocre teams up against the current juggernauts.
