I was recently watching a movie that starred Lulu Belle and Scotty, entitled "Swing Your Partner" (1943). I found them quite charming, and wish they'd headlined some other little musical-comedy B-features, akin to the long string of films the Hoosier Hot Shots starred in.

Red Sovine - "Juke Joint Johnny" (1957)
Red was better known for his later trucker anthems, but w/help from session master Grady Martin on guitar (& an unknown guy on steel) he cut this honky tonk classic.
