The Swamp

The last three days has revealed to me that the swamp is wider, deeper, and smellier than anyone has ever imagined. I see now that we never had a chance to win. Every single of of them, from Pence on down, has stabbed President Trump in the back. They fear the swamp more than the people. With Biden coming in, the ones we thought could be on our side have converted to their swamp creature wats once more The swamp has total control.

The protests at the Capitol were about something bigger than Trump or the election. It’s about the downward spiral that this country, and the world, is about to take. In twenty years our economy, society, and infrastructure will look like Russia circa 1992/93 after the collapse of the Soviet Union...if we’re lucky.

I still firmly believe that, in time, good will prevail. Unfortunately, we will have to go through very hard times and therefore will have to re-learn the lessons of self-determination, responsibility, and sustainability, as well as the true meaning of liberty and freedom, the hard way. We tried to do it the easy way, but the swamp won’t allow it.

So, for now, all we can do is pray that God will bring our nation trough whatever lies ahead. We have to do our damndest to raise our children to the best of our ability. We have to do our damndest to provide for them, and teach them what life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness really means.

Come what may. God’s will be done.
