He actually arguably benefitted more than any other passer from play action and pro passes this past season, even more so than Tannehill
What are you talking about? How could he benefit when the Texans ran for the fewest yards in the league? They had rushing threat this year. Just because they utilize more often doesn’t mean that it was beneficial. If you think play actions with Henry aren’t more threatening to teams than fakes to David Johnson, I don’t know what to tell you.
Watson takes some sacks, but more than makes up for it by scrambling or rolling out and extending plays that end up as positive. He’s continued to improve every year and is one of the most dynamic QB’s in the league. The fact you think Tannehill is better than Deshaun tells me everything I need to know.

His offensive line was one of the best in the league at blocking on RPOs and Playactions and it showed in his numbers: he was second only to Lamar Jackson in YPA on RPO throws and he led the league in ypa on PA throws. Even though they didn’t get a lot of yards on the ground in terms of raw numbers (due to being down so much and the ol doing their backs no favors), they were efficient enough in the running game to make those RPO/PA passes viable.
