I'm certainly not saying we need to cave and just give Lonzo a max or whatever he wants but...

One thing we discuss a lot around here is how being a small market team, we need to take risks, it's our only real shot to become a contender. With that being said, if the right trade package doesn't come across, I do think we need to just about everything in our power to not lose Lonzo for nothing. Meaning, we probably should overpay if necessary. But again, all within reason, we shouldn't just give him a max, but we should likely give him more than maybe he "deserves" IMO.

One thing a lot of us need to take the L on(myself included) is earlier in the season, most of us wanted Griff to trade Lonzo for basically nothing, the value was getting our young guys minutes. But Griff was right to be patient, and now Zo has wayyyyyyy more value than he did just 6 weeks ago.
