Is it really a "miserable existence" to not support the in your face places though? That doesn't seem like the slightest bit of hyperbole to you?

I don't blame people if they don't support the "in your face" places, but I do think it would be weird and exhausting if you go out of your way to figure out which places you agree with politically and only frequent those.
