What’s the appeal for all-inclusive if you’re actively looking a really nice place to relax?
He asked for high-end all inclusive. If he and his better half want unlimited high-end arse-kissing, service, food, wine list and booze--then the aforementioned properties offer that with tiny crowds.
They are nothing like the all-inclusives in Riveria Maya, DR, etc.
Jumby, Peter Island, Cap Juluca and Little Dix Bay will have minimal other guests for the duration of your trip. And the handful of folks you do encounter will be high-end, as well.
Sorry if that sounds snobbish--but you're paying to get away from Cancun people and these spots accomplish that very, very well.

I get that. But what I’m not sure about is the all-inclusive part. Why not just open it up to any resort? When selecting upscale/high-end, is all-inclusive that big of a deal? I’ve always considered that the cost effective option.
Plus if all he is wanting to do is relax by the pool/beach, why pay for an all-inclusive place?
I’ve never stayed at a high end all inclusive, so I’m asking.
