Prayers for you and yours

We are scheduled for a c section for our first on Thursday, of course my wife getting the virus has been a pretty big concern throughout but praise be to God it seems like we are gonna make it without having to deal with that. Godspeed

My pregnant wife and I both got it. She was about 20 weeks along when we tested positive and thank god we both had mild cases. I went on a deep dive into case studies of pregnant women with COVID. Neither of us ever got a fever. She had a bit of a head cold for 4-5 days and that was about it. I had what is comparable to a mild seasonal cold. Only triggering event for me to get tested was losing my sense of smell. Got that back in 2-3 days. Neither of us ever had weakness, shortness of breath, or any of the other common symptoms, but thank god. This is our first child and we were on edge for the first few days for sure.

OP happy to hear your wife and the baby came out on the other side. I can’t imagine how scary that must have been, especially with two other children at home.
