I wouldn't mind if decommits went other places besides bama

That's always a punch in the gut. Out of the 130 teams, it seems like we lose most of our big name players to Bama. And it's always on the last day. Saban needs to retire and lsu needs to start beating Bama more than once in 8 years

Not sure when it will happen, but the fall from Grace will be epic when Saban is done. Their fans will go absolutely crazy.

To be honest at this point I am fine with them going to Bama. Just like if any SEC school is going to win a National Championship at this point Id rather it be Bama. It sucks but they are who they are and they will continue to be the best program in the sport until Saban retires.
What I don’t want is them to go to Florida, Georgia, A&M, etc and they start winning championship because that’s more teams we have to compete with. Bama only has 25 spots those 3 and Bama is 100 spots for recruits.

At some point saban will retire. And when he does..........and bama comes back down to the rest of the upper SEC........when we flip anyone from them I hope we have them flip on signing day.

the only positive spin here is that saban is 70 now, hes doing more and more commercials and TV work, it cant be long now until he walks.

The thing is that and in most cases, Bama is the only team that would cause these kids to flip.

LSU can do more than anyone to speed up Saban’s retirement. If we can stay competitive and beat them on a consistent basis keeping Bama from winning championship after championship then Saban will just ride off into the sunset rather than fight to stay on top.
