Yes because there’s a creole style of gumbo and a Cajun style of gumbo. Just like jambalaya.

ALSO - just like there are different styles of potato salad, cole slaw, and other foods.

It’s really not that hard to figure out or fathom.

Many resteraunts that i been to around around here on NC coast put tomatoes in it. I've never had a problem with it.
