Had a .375 first and I couldn't get it to shoot like I wanted and it kicked so hard that shite kept falling off of it. Slid a scope in the mounts, front sight fell off, stock got loose. It was a pretty cheap rifle but I just had to have a .375 h&h
Sold that and got a .338 win mag model 70 which is a much nicer rifle and this one drives tacks.
The recoil isn't bad at all. Its very significantly less than the .375 was. Im going to get another 375 one day just to have one but the next one will be a 10 pound rifle.
