I’ve raised three children to adulthood. All tax paying, contributing members of society. Never arrested, never gave me a moments trouble. One played and now coaches college softball, one is an underwater welder, one works on pipeline.

I’ve coached youth baseball in my community for 15 years. Wish I could show you the letters I’ve received from the ones I coached as kids who know have families of their own. I’ll take those letters over being able to run a football any day.

I’ve held a job, provided for my family and paid my taxes for my entire adult life.

But please, you keep right on worshipping professional athletes.
