It all comes down to what actually gets put into place.

If it becomes a national, federal law, then things get iffy in a big hurry. We're not talking local or state, we're talking national.

If you combine owning federal contraband, and going on social media to make actively defiant and disobedient statements against the standing federal government, I suspect the pressure can and will be ratcheted up.

We live in a nation where you may have to flash an id to buy a can of Krylon spraypaint, and that's tolerated. If you don't think there would be efforts to enforce a law and that people (in general) would go along with it, then... good.

Best case scenario would be that you get left alone, but in return you better not display or use them publicly.
