Unfortunately true. The individuals involved went to the title 9 office. Had a discussion and then refused to report the incident to them either.
No woman should subject to sexual assault... it is awful.
UN fortunately I have an experience of a family friend that went through the legal/police/court system with one of these allegations. The allegation was months after the fact... no evidence of any kind. He said she said situation. Yet the alleged perpetrator was held in jail for 45 days. While the police/DA investigated nothing.. no rape kit no witnesses ..
