I’m thinking at least 40” or bigger. This will be built into the countertop island.
What do most brands do about covering it?
I’m pretty anal about maintaining my grills, but what is the upkeep like for one? Would y’all recommend one with a grease trap to scrape everything into?
Any info or advice is appreciated.

I have the Camp Chef FTG600. I like it. Take a look at their FTG900. I prefer Camp Chef as they come pre-seasoned and and arguably less prone to rust. Search Backyard Life Gear for cover solutions.

My buddy has a Cook Rite. The griddle is thick and holds heat well. It’s in his outdoor kitchen and he leaves it uncovered.
He had a Blackstone that was always rusty no mater how he cleaned it and left it.

Good to know. See these on sale all the time.

A blackstone shouldn’t rust if you take care of it correctly.
