Pull the codes
When you disconnect the battery you are clearing the codes. This should do it
Turn the key off for 30 seconds. Do the following within 5 seconds: Key ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON (don't start the engine). Keep your eye on the CEL. The display will either say "Wait" and then the CEL will start blinking; or the CEL will start blinking right away. In either case, count the number of blinks between each long pause (b is blink P is pause= ex b P bb P bbbb P b P bbbbbb P b). The codes are in two-digit numbers so the previous sequence would be 12, 41, 61. 12 = start and 61 = end. 12 may or may not happen.
