They competed early until Finley had the two crushing TO's. Once AU bookended the half with TD's LSU had no confidence in their QB. I'm not saying they were justified in quitting, but the circumstance as to how AU blew open the lead made them more apt to do so.

However, if they come out vs. Bama with no heart then there is a BIG issue with Ed because he will have clearly lost the program. IF LSU looks disinterested in that game, then Ed should just circle the wagons and bench/remove anyone who doesn't play with effort. Let the young players play the rest of the season to start prep for next year.

Get a grip.

Coach O is dealing with missing 32 players from a National Championship Team which he built. Then he has a new DC who is trying to install a defense without having a Spring or legitimate Fall Practice to do so. LSU will be fine even if they go 2-8. Some of you actually believe this season is a legitimate football season but it truly is simply a thrown together, last minute concoction. Now we are playing with 2 true Freshmen QBs and you are talking about the team being lost. Good grief.
