Toliver is now up to 194 pounds and looks like a “baby Plaxico” physically.

LINK

This is probably the best thing I have heard this spring. He is going to be a SCARY #3 receiver.

they have a boatload of talent but will they get to show it.

If we had flynn back i think they would but look for alot of safe stuff esp early on.

Good. Wasn't (adult) Plaxico the reason behind Saban's only noteworthy season outside of LSU?

i agree it wont hurt that they can get open and i still think they have a good year but with JR or Flynn they reach max potential. Who knows though i could be wrong. I just see dickson and the backs getting alot of passes but with the wizard it might end up different.

False. He had one or two seasons at Miami that were noteworthy. And last year at Bama was nothing short of a miracle if you were an LSU fan. To start out so hot and finish so bad. And to think we were the catalyst.

not if our QBs can't get them the ball. If you listen to Byrd's interview, he said the QBs could never hit him on the go route and was shocked that Lee's TD pass to him was on the money during the spring game. Byrd also said they were missing a lot of passes in the spring and summer.

I think we'll see a lot WR slant plays as well as screen passes to Byrd, Lafell & co. It will have to be a different offense. We will not go vertical unless it's a busted play.

It will also mean the WRs will need to take a lot more physical punishment.

Not exactly what he said, he said that when they got the pads on during the spring they looked good. That prior trouble was on early 7 on 7. But whatever.

I think Bryd was trying to make a point about Lee's and Hatch's progression and improvement.
