Everyone knew there would be postponed games, and he made it so that there was no way to reschedule them.

The move should have been to just punt on the playoffs and make a conference championship weekend on new year's day. Give everyone a few weeks to back fill make up games and what not as well.
There was too much money involved with the bowls and playoffs for something like that to happen. A long with no centralized planning.
