Your story about them being so close is also made up. The Seattle Times article says they have ties from their days at LSU but that isn’t true at all. Woodward left with Emmert for Washington in 04, Pelini didn’t arrive until the following season. They even mention a time when Woody had the chance to offer Pelini a job and took someone else over him lol. Where was that close relationship then? O at least has working ties to Pelini.

Read the article. Pelini was happy where he was. In his first season at Nebraska. And, it was Pelini who strongly recommended Sark for the job.
